1. Overview
Appeality provides administrative representation support for Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) challenges. Our pricing and refund position depends on the payment model selected at checkout.

2. Pricing Models
Entry Fee + Success Fee
- £5.99 entry fee
- £9.99 success fee in the circumstances described below
Fixed Fee
- £9.99 per appeal
- Paid upfront
3. Entry Fee + Success Fee
Entry Fee
The entry fee is £5.99.
Once work has begun on your matter, the entry fee is non-refundable.
Success Fee
A £9.99 success fee may be charged automatically after 90 days if an image is not uploaded explaining that the PCN is still active.
For this pricing model, “success” means a written or email cancellation or a Notice of Acceptance from the issuing authority.
No additional fee is charged if the appeal is unsuccessful.
Limited Refund Position
A refund review may be considered where proof is provided of an active PCN with the same PCN number.
4. Fixed Fee
Under the fixed-fee pricing model, the fee is £9.99 per appeal and is paid upfront.
Once work has begun on your matter, the fixed fee is non-refundable.
No additional fee is charged if the appeal is successful.
5. When Refunds Are Not Available
Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law, refunds are generally not available:
- Once work has begun on your appeal
- Where the selected pricing model states that the fee is non-refundable
- Where the appeal is unsuccessful but the service has already been provided
- Where delays, missed opportunities, or case issues result from inaccurate or late information supplied by the user
6. How to Request a Refund Review
If you believe a refund review is justified under the terms above, please contact us by email and include:
- Your full name
- The email address linked to your account
- Your PCN number
- Your payment date
- A short explanation of the issue
- Any supporting proof, including proof of an active PCN with the same PCN number where relevant
